Dirk Salowsky
Contributing Writer
Born in Germany back in 1975, Dirkee was raised in Oldenburg, and has been a resident of Hannover since 1996. He spent a long period of his life in Manchester, England, and is nowadays a regular traveller in the United States. A rather creative mind, Dirk is a language student in the State of Lower Saxony's capital, known for its trade fairs (such as the CeBIT) and several art museums. His interests range from English and German Linguistics to education, communication and international relations. He is a music person, singing in a mixed choir and also with his own a-cappella quartet. Dirk likes to think of himself as a wine cellar from which one returns either with a well-matured red or a light white – if a stopover by the fridge doesn't end with some fresh grape juice. Wherever the trip leads, its outcome will yield satisfaction. And he shall see that his readers will not suffer from a hangover. Beyond metaphorical talk, Dirkee is not only a wine fan himself, but an experienced gourmet that might share his wealth of knowledge in this field some time.
Some websites Dirkee recommends:
1 (for the news-hungry, in German) 2 (for a word a day) 3 (for the music-driven) 4 (for the music lovers)
