Angelo is 27 years old and has quite the track record behind him. He studied English and German language and literature, and has a preference for the classics (Greek included). He was brought up in the surroundings of the beautiful Portuguese capital, but did not stay long after his graduation, having embarked on the greatest adventure of his life so far: living and teaching both languages in Pitea, North Sweden, just short of the Polar Circle. Back to Portugal, he joined the army, got out, worked here and there until finally moving as a teacher to the city of Oita, in Japan. Crazy or brave, it's for him to say. Being a good educator, close to the community and in a symbiosis relationship is at the best times challenging for a gaikokujin living in Japan. The transnationalization objective of this blog got his fancy. Again, a symbiosis relationship for those who seek broader horizons, he thinks.
