Ana Maria Marcelino was born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1981. She was raised in a double nationality family, living closely with two different cultures throughout her life, thus cultivating an understanding of two sides in dialogue from a very early stage. Trained as a psychologist, she has nurtured an interest on social issues thatclosely relate with disruptive and/or psychosomatic patterns of behaviour. Ana has worked closely with different Non Governmental Organizations, including hunger prevention associations, homeless support groups and family violence support lines, all of which marked her path in society, enhancing an already innate ability to listen and attempt to understand the other. She currently works as a human resources assistant manager in a major Portuguese corporation with international relevance.
